Essay Contest
Kinvincible is hosting a community essay contest for middle schoolers (6th-8th grade) and high schoolers (9th-12th grade). The Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. famously said, “The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.” Share a time, when you encountered or witnessed a challenge or controversy and how you responded.
For middle school students: The essay must be up no more than 750 words and double spaced with one inch margins. The winner will receive $750.
For high school students: The essay must be no more than 1000 words and double spaced with one inch margins. The winner will receive $1,000.
Deadline: In order to participate in the essay contest, please send your essay to service@wearekinvincible.com with the subject line “Essay Contest—Middle School” or “Essay Contest—High School” by Sunday, November 30, 2025 at 11:59 pm EST. You must include your name, grade, age, city and state, email address, and phone number with your essay. We look forward to reading your submissions!
