About Us

Kinvincible is a membership subscription community designed to assist parents in empowering their children and teens to be successful. We provides resources, strategies and playbooks for success. Our focus includes academic, advocacy, enrichment, cultural identity, leadership development, mental wellness and healthy living. We want to help parents increase their children’s education, confidence, connectivity, cultural identity, career opportunities and earning potential.

Vision: To support parents in empowering youth of color for success, in order to enhance their children’s confidence, academic prowess, professional opportunities and earning potential.

Mission: We bring together parents of children of color and support them in empowering their children for success through academic enrichment, leadership development, advocacy, cultural identity, financial literacy and community service.

YOUTH LEADERS

Sekayi—College Student

Director of Youth Programming & Lead Host of “Empowering the Leader Within” Series

Sekayi Fraser is a college student and the Director of Youth Programming for Kinvincible. He also serves as the lead host of the Teen Leadership Series called “Empowering the Leader Within” for which he and his co-hosts interview accomplished professionals to explore how they achieved success in their professions while maintaining physical and mental wellness. He also assists Kinvincible in coordinating quarterly food and clothing drives for area families in need.

In addition to Sekayi’s Kinvincible duties, he is a community leader, advocate, entrepreneur and scholar-athlete. Over the years, he has appeared on news outlets to discuss issues that impact teens including school budgets, sponsorships, improved resources for students, wellness, etc. He also serves as a Montgomery County Youth Advisory Council Member and works with the County Council on racial equity, social justice, education, affordable housing, climate control, etc. He also serves on the Student Government Association Leadership Team for his high school

Sekayi and his brother co-own a dog walking business called “Potomac Pooch Pals” which was featured in the Washington Post. (Washington Post Article) Sekayi’s hobbies include reading, advocacy, gaming and wrestling. He also is a proud puppy parent of a black Labrador Retriever named Brock Aloysius Lamar Fraser a.k.a Brock.

Meet Sekayi

Farai—High School Student

Deputy Director of Youth Programming & Co-Host of “Empowering the Leader Within” Series

Farai Fraser is a high school student and the Assistant Director of Youth Programming for Kinvincible. He is a scholar-athlete with a passion for football, music and photography. He co-hosts Kinvincible’s Teen Advocacy Series called “Empowering the Leader Within” in which he and his teen co-hosts interview prominent professionals and explore how they achieved success in their professions while maintaining physical and mental wellness.

Farai previously served on the Montgomery County Council’s Youth Advisory Council where he advised on community issues such as economic development, education, agriculture and climate control. He is also the President of the Food Frenzy Club at his high school, Community Outreach Chair for the Black Student Union, and a member of the Student Government Association’s Leadership Team. Farai and his brother also have a dog walking business called “Potomac Pooch Pals” which was featured in the Washington Post.  Farai is a proud puppy parent of a black Labrador Retriever rescue named Brock Aloysius Lamar Fraser a.k.a Brock. 

Meet Thandi

Thandiwe—High School Student

Director of STEM Initiatives & Co-Host of “Empowering the Leader Within” Series

Thandiwe (“Thandi”) Allsopp is a rising 9th grader. She is the Director of STEM Initiatives and Co-Host of the “Empowering the Leader Within” series. Thandi enjoys STEM and developed a digital tutorial that was featured on Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Scratch website and accumulated over 35,000 views! She also won the Mid Atlantic Episcopal Schools Association’s spelling bee two years in a row. In addition, Thandi is an accomplished actress and has experience working in films, videos and theater.

OUR PRESIDENT & FOUNDER

Mondi Kumbula-Fraser, Esq.

President & Founder

Mondi Kumbula-Fraser is the President & Founder of Kinvincible.  She is also a proud wife, mother, attorney, executive and educator.  In 2023, Mondi was named as a “Top Lobbyist & Influencer” by Lawyers of Color.  In 2022, she received a “Top Lobbyist” award from the National Institute for Lobbying & Ethics. Her experience also includes teaching undergraduate courses on “Civil Rights”, “Law, Politics & Educational Policy” and “Judicial Process”.  Mondi is an accomplished public speaker and has been invited to train attorneys, government relations executives, nonprofit organizations, students and others on best practices in the legal, legislative and education fields.

Mondi earned her undergraduate degree from Howard University and her law degree from The Catholic University of America’s Columbus School of Law.   

She has appeared in the media on several occasions to discuss children, families, leadership, education, cultural identity, equity and more.
